Our Goals & Future Plans

  • Social Events + Workshops

Throughout the year, we’re excited to host a variety of engaging events and activities designed for individuals of all abilities. From lively mixers and creative art classes to energetic dance sessions, we strive to bring joy and connection to everyone who participates.

In addition to our recreational offerings, we are proud to invite guest speakers who will inspire and educate on important topics such as special education, transition services, and employment opportunities for adults with disabilities. These events provide valuable insights and support for families and individuals navigating these essential areas.

For our youngest friends, we offer our
I Can Sign workshops, enriching parent-child sign language classes that combine music, books, and basic signs—making learning fun and interactive for children and their families.

  • Highlights

The I Can Project is dedicated to shining a light on the incredible work happening within special education programs. By showcasing the efforts of teachers and students, the project aims to highlight the innovative approaches, inspiring stories, and transformative experiences that occur in classrooms every day. With a focus on the dedication, creativity, and resilience of those involved, the I Can Project offers a platform to celebrate how these educational communities are making a lasting impact, helping students overcome challenges, and reaching their full potential. It’s a celebration of the power of education to create a more inclusive and supportive world for all learners.

We’re thrilled to share our exciting future plans for I Can Coffee and Bakery—a warm, welcoming storefront where the community can enjoy locally roasted coffee, freshly baked treats, and much more! This will be a space where you can relax, socialize, and support a movement that champions inclusivity.
